I provide academic support to students with disabilities daily in the areas of math, reading and/or writing. Students with learning disabilities often have attention problems; being able to move around can help students concentrate on learning. Bouncy bands, wobble chairs and soft seats will help improve focus and learning for my students. With flexible seating in our classroom, the students will have the option to choose a seat that fits their needs. Changing the classroom space to meet the students’ individual needs will help impact their learning. My goal is to create a comfortable and fun learning environment to fit my students’ needs.
