Starting my first year teaching means building my classroom library as well as teacher read-alouds. It is so important to have a wid range of reading materials to spread an array of messages to my students that will provide a positive outcome in their lives. Although my book collection has started, there is still so much that is needed! Reading is a regular part of the day in a first-grade classroom, and I would love to be able to provide a wonderful selection of books for my students to read and be read to. Classroom book bins are also needed in a library for helping students gain easy access to different book genres. Any contribution to my classroom library is whole heartedly appreciated!
