I teach in a large classroom that requires my students and me to be socially distanced by 3 to 6 feet apart due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My students are very very far away from me when I teach and I have to speak loudly so that every student can hear me. Over the last few weeks, I have discovered that I am starting to lose my voice when I talk so loudly each and every day. My voice cannot take this much longer and I desperately need some support with this voice amplifier. My students will be able to hear me loudly and clearly with this device and I will be able to give my voice some relief by letting me talk in a softer voice.
Students in my classroom also need an additional supply of well-fitting masks. Unfortunately, my school district has bought and distributed adult-sized masks for my 7-year-old students. These masks do not fit my students whatsoever and cause more frustration than they do to help them. My students would be grateful to have a supply of masks available in my classroom for when their masks do break or get tarnished. Your support would greatly impact my class with our most basic of needs.
