By reading aloud to students, they'll be able to further their understanding of literary concepts as well as promoting cross-curriculum lessons. It would also help promote interest in individual reading if we begin the year reading as a whole group. With this project, I'll be able to kick start the new school year by introducing a variety of fun books to my class. These books will also contribute to our classroom library so that students can revisit their favorite read aloud. These books also allow me to produce immersive lessons to teach so that students remain engaged.
