After listening to Wish Tree, we used the oil pastels and our list of words for 2026 to create a wish tree for our classroom. \r\n\r\nWe also used the card stock and oil pastels to create Pop Heart Art for our hallways leading to Valentine's Day. We counted 10 colors of tissue paper dots and used 10 different colors to create a gumball machine. Several students have gained more confidence in their reading skills and are even willing to read aloud to the group when before, they did not feel comfortable doing so.
