We have been able to immediately use the phonics mats and cardstock to help support our small group learning.\r\n\r\nRight now, the mats have been helpful in supporting the variety of needs of learners. Whether it is through identifying letters after talking about objects that has that beginning sound or beginning to put sounds together to blend words, they have provided hands on opportunities for students to manipulate letters and sounds.\r\n\r\nThe cardstock has helped created alphabet cards to support students with reinforcing their learning as well as create some resources for working with letters and sounds that correspond. We have loved using our new room to create a safe, calm, and clean space. What may seem like simple art supplies have given my students opportunities to express themselves, build confidence, and discover that learning can be both meaningful and fun.\r\n\r\nBecause of this project, our classroom has become a little more colorful, a little more creative, and a lot more joyful.
