These class sets of The Lemonade War and The World According to Humphrey Book 1 will make an enormous difference in my student’s learning by helping me provide a way for students to engage in critical thinking and reflection as they read, discuss and respond to books. Reading together will help students reshape and add onto their understanding as they construct meaning with their peers. Oftentimes, students don’t get the chance to have authentic conversations about what they’re reading. I want to use these sets of books to help students create dialogue with one another and to spark creativity in other aspects literary. I want them to feel inspired by books!!
