Hi everyone, I have extraordinary students and they are constantly challenging my knowledge of current affairs and world history. I am asking for funding to purchase technology which will help me quickly look up their questions and also help them research their interests. For example, the other day in class, students wanted to know more about whether or not the Black Plague had reappeared in recent history. I was able to tell them about a recent case in Arizona but I did not know the details. With the i pad in hand, I feel I would have had the information for them right away. Another interest - they wanted to know more about the recent kidnappings of girls in Nigeria ( they wanted to know what the U.S. was doing). Ideally we would all have access to i pads - but we need to start somewhere. Thank You from my remarkable students.
