Welcome to my Donor's Choose page! I am just starting off in a new setting, teaching 6th grade ELA! Over time, no matter where I've taught, I've learned about the importance of determination in my students. While their classroom skills may vary, one thing I've learned about my students is that their determination to grow as individuals does not. When they see I am invested in them as individuals, they invest in my class. I also make sure that my classroom feels like a home to them, as I know they won't feel free to be themselves if they're not comfortable. On a personal level, I have been teaching English Language Arts for the past 8 years. I also have run a school literary magazine. I truly love what I do, and I am very grateful for both my students and Donor's Choose every single day!
