These two novels (historical fiction and fantasy) will engage my students in reading and expand their thinking and imagination. Great literature can transform a child. The books selected will give my kids the opportunity to immerse themselves into different worlds and experience the passion of reading. We will be reading these novels in small literature circles allowing my students to learn through reading, writing and discussion. My goal and hope for my kids is to find a love of reading and learning through these award-winning novels. Your generosity will open up a whole new world to these amazing kids!
