Oh man, are my high schoolers amazing! We are part of the TREND (transportation, engineering and design) academy on campus, and these kids are some of the most creative thinkers around. There is a HUGE variety: anywhere from Algebra 1 to Algebra 2 in math and a similar range in science, meaning I'm dealing with a pretty dramatic mixed bag of kids. My school is a very urban school, meaning lots of diversity, and not enough resources to fully take advantage of that diversity. Thankfully, this doesn't make my kids any less enthusiastic to learn :)
