We complete many interactive lessons and projects (interactive notebooks, history cubes, budget projects, lapbooks, games, and museums). Project based learning allows students to delve deeper into topics resulting in a more in depth understanding of specific time periods and events in history. To help immerse students into lessons I incorporate many educational videos. Students use Chromebooks to access individualized lessons and listen to videos. Headsets allow students to work within digital lessons on their own pace without disturbing students around them. All students are equal in my classroom, but all students do not have equal access to supplies. To balance this access, head sets will given to students without financial means. In addition, students that need color copies to complete projects (history cubes, lapbooks, museum displays, etc.) will have access to a color printer. This access will validate all students work, worth by allowing equal access to materials.
