My students are in the seventh-grade and have been identified as low-performing across all academic areas. They struggle inside and outside of the classroom. They have little support at home, but want desperately to be successful. Most of the students are boys that are good-natured and kind. Typically, most are not involved in extra-curricular activities. A few of my students are girls. They tend to be shy in nature and are kind-hearted. My students attend a public middle school with approximately 1200 7th and 8th grade students.
