My students are freshmen. Half of my classes are English language learners (ELL) who have a drive to succeed and learn the language, although they have many obstacles. The school in which we study is a Title I school and funding for educational technology is limited. The ELL students have shown and said they learn and accomplish when paired with a native speaker or if they are able to view examples from a native English speaker. My students have a passion to learn and to write about what they know and what they learn.
