On March 16th, digital learning became the abrupt reality for many students and teachers across the country. Thus, to be better equipped for our learning experience this fall, I am requesting support for an iPad. Having an iPad will enhance my delivery of digital instruction, in the event that I must deliver my classroom instruction virtually for an extended period of time. Not only are iPads are very reliable and compatible with the math software my students use on a daily basis. There are various apps that can be accessed to create and deliver interactive presentations for student-facing instruction, and others that can be used for student collaboration in a traditional classroom setting or at a distance. Therefore, during distance learning, the iPad can be used to deliver instruction; however, once we return to the classroom, it can be used as a supplemental technology resource during a technology rotation.
