Our school is a wonderful, unique place! It is a public magnet school focusing on French language immersion. Our school is a diverse community made up of many families with roots in Francophone countries such as Senegal and Haiti, as well as local families from all over the city representing racial, cultural, and socioeconomic diversity. Our students are a group of brilliant, inquisitive, imaginative, and talented children from many walks of life. They thrive in creative endeavors and flourish when given the opportunity to express themselves. My greatest hope as the art teacher is to give them meaningful opportunities for self-expression and learning.
