This year my school has started to implement Reader's Workshop. That means that students are able to have more time to implement and practice their reading skills and strategies with partners, individually, and in groups. There are a lot of materials that the workshop uses such as reading mats, reading strategy bookmarks, and lots and lots of books. Students keep at least 10 books in their desks and these bins will help to keep their books and materials more organized. Students will use these bins every day by bringing them to their reading spots and groups. These will help my students to stay more organized as well as being able to get to reading their books faster since it will all be in one place!
