My students are proud and resilient sons and daughters of immigrants- some fist generation and others who's families have lived in our community for generations. They come to our school library happy to read, be read to, and especially check out a book. Our school has a high needs, low income population and our students are all varying levels of English language learners who are still getting acquainted with the resources available for them in our community. They look to the school for guidance and support and I am always happy to supply whatever resources and help I can in our Library space.
