It is my goal to create a laptop station in my classroom to allow students more opportunities to create, collaborate, and explore the world of chemistry. This year I took the journey to flip my chemistry classroom. My students now complete the lecture portion of the class at home and come to class ready to explore the content through a series of labs, hands on activities, virtual simulations, class discussions, group projects and more. At times the content is so abstract the need for virtual labs and simulations are necessary but the access to computers is very limited at my school.
