Students will be using these books and magazines to improve their reading and grammar skills, while enjoying what they read. Some of our books also go with our social studies standards and paint a picture for students to visualize the history we learn. I Survived 9/11 is one of the first books I start off the year with because September 11th is such an important day in our history. The Scholastic Magazines are amazing resources that have non-fiction articles that I have used for everything! I've used the math problems in them and even had students ask for more to read because they loved them so much. Your donations mean so much to us!
