The books I am asking for my students teach amazing lessons! The Elephant & Piggy books teach students about friendship and how to treat others. The Kevin Henkes books I am asking for will complete our current collection. His books teach students to embrace and love their uniqueness. Many of my students read these books over working on the computer during free time. In our current classroom library, the Elephant and Piggy books we do have are always in use. My students enjoy reading to each other in class and taking books home to share with their families! My students fall in love with the characters and love being able to read to our stuffed animals. With these books my students will not only learn how to become great friends but they're also learning at their level. These books are the perfect fit for my first and second graders. They're easy to read, engaging, and fun!
