Greetings music education supporters! I am an elementary instrumental music teacher serving roughly 200 students at three federally funded Title 1 schools in the DC metro area. I have the unique opportunity to work with low-income students that are eager to learn, highly motivated to achieve success, and constantly strive to do their best. While all three schools I teach in lack adequate funding to provide materials for my department, the teachers, parents, students, and members of the community work with me to create an environment where young musicians can grow. Please know that donations you provide to my projects are much appreciated and entirely needed. My students have a love for life and learning! Some will go on to pursue careers in the arts while others use art as their only outlet. Remember, "Music can change the world because it can change people" (Bono). You can be a part of it here.
