Hello! My name is Shannon. I am a special education teacher in New Haven, CT who teaches K-2nd Grade. I drive every day over an hour to teach at my school because it is my other home, my baby and my purpose. The children I teach are amazing little learners who have so much to give back to our world. My job is to help them learn about the world around them and to prepare them to continue to be lifelong learners. They exceed my expectations every year and bring tears of joy to my eyes as I see them struggle in areas because of disabilities or life circumstances. I live to see these kids find the part of them that I see. The materials and supplies will help students to learn in groups. I will use these materials for learning centers. This will help my students to focus and it will motivate them to learn. Flexible seating will help them to feel comfortable while they are learning. Thank you for thinking of my students and helping out in any way that you can.
