Every child wants to be in a classroom where they feel excited to be there. My goal as a teacher is to light a fire for learning with my students, all while encouraging them to be the BEST that they can be. My amazing students are already writing, reading, and using technology in ways that I can't even imagine. I have the pleasure of teaching 18 wonderfully curious Kindergartners in Florida. Our school is a Title I school with more than 87% of our student population on free or reduced lunches. My students range in skills when entering kindergarten. They come from homes that are very diverse. They come from families who speak only English, some who speak multiple languages, and some who speak no English at all. One thing is for sure, these kids keep me laughing and teach me something new every day!
