I am looking to bring books into our library that celebrate and educate students about the variety of cultures that are represented in our neighborhood and school. As the most culturally diverse neighborhood in the United States I want to highlight, showcase and celebrate the diversity that our students represent in our school, by bringing in culturally representative books about our school population. In order to make this possible we are looking to bring in books about various countries and cultures that are represented in our student population. As well as books in some of the languages represented and cookbooks featuring cultural dishes for students to share and enjoy.
