These magazines help my students learn about current STEM topics, while also supporting literacy. They are filled with science articles ranging from animal intelligence and farming with drones to engineering topics, such as kid inventors and hotels for bees. My students' curiosity is awakened to the idea that science is all around them. The wide variety of topics covered in these magazines almost guarantees my students will find something about science that speaks to them. These magazines are a good springboard for conversations about science today. From the gross out factors of living organisms to the tech heavy pieces, my students love SuperScience and Science World!
