These items will be used by students while receiving intervention services. These items will provide privacy and a feeling of value to these students without having to compete with others. Students can privately work at their own pace and skills without worrying about being compared to others. These students will feel cared about and encouraged to read more. They need to feel valued and important enough to get good or new tools to help them learn. These students deserve to feel successful at their own skill level. They can also be rewarded for their success at the level and skill they are at. The headphones will be used daily in a computer assisted reading program. The privacy folders will also be used daily with leveled reading materials. Students will be rewarded for their hard work and dedication to improving their reading skills. We work with struggling students from K to 8th grade so all grade levels will benefit from these items.
