Welcome! I have been teaching in SAUSD for the past 18+ years (after putting my career on hold to be a stay-at-home mom to my 3 children). I love coming to work each day, and having the opportunity to work with my students. My students have some of the most challenging disabilities, and yet they are ready to learn each day, with bright smiles, and eager minds. Each student enjoys life to their fullest, and only ask to be treated as all children would like to be treated; with respect and kindness. My students require full hand-over-hand assistance to complete daily tasks, which I gladly provide. I keep moving all day as I drive from student to student, meeting each student where they are, physically and cognitively. Please look at my project and see if it is something you would like to support. The students and I have fun, work hard, and do our best to relate learning to what is going on in the community and beyond.
