The 6th graders in my classes are nice people that come from very diverse backgrounds. 51% of the students at my school are low income, but the rest come from fairly comfortable households. This creates a vast inequity between students that is most noticeable in the technology that is available to them. For many students, the only opportunity they have to experience the power of web-based tools like Google products in Google Drive, Quia, Batch-Geo, etc., is in my classroom.

About my class
