Science is one of those subjects that, when learned through experience, stays with your for life. However, much of the science content is complex and the manipulative to allow kids to do and see are expensive. Many of them learn the information but have a hard time applying the content to scenarios. The Snap Circuits Jr Electronics Discovery Kits will give my students an opportunity to have fun while learning. Circuits can be a confusing concept for many students mostly when having to understand what makes a circuit open or closed. Without manipulative, the students have to rely on pictures and drawing to understand the difference. By providing the snap circuit kits, they will be able to see science in real world situations. They will be able to investigate how a light or a fan can actually turn on with electricity and how adding a switch can change a circuit.
