My class is enriched with learning, motivation, rigor, engagement and support. I have a strong community of learners where students work together to support each other.
The students in my class enjoy coming to a structured rich learning environment that allow choices, flexibility and a variety of ways for students to demonstrate their learning, and fun engagement projects, so students take ownership of their own learning.
We also focus on building relationships, working collaboratively and supporting each other. In our class, students feel safe to make mistakes, persevere and grow at their own pace because of their peer support and support from their teacher.
My students work hard, respect each other and enjoying learning despite the obstacles they face at home or in their neighborhoods.
