Hello! Welcome to book central at Cambridge Elementary School in Concord, California. Yes, my classroom is the library, and I am in my first year as a teacher-librarian. I cannot imagine a better job. In the course of a week I have 19 first through fifth grade classes coming through the library for a brief lesson and to check out books. I also have an active cadre of library helpers, after school time and supplemental media skills classes.
