My class is a lively mix of amazing learners from a variety of backgrounds and abilities—seven receiving special education services and four in general education. Each child brings something unique: one dreams of being a doctor, another loves Pete the Cat, snakes, and fruit, and our youngest dances to every song. One student needs help with her hair each morning and greets everyone with kindness, while our “speed walker” leads the line with enthusiasm. Some are shy and gentle, others natural helpers. Together, they learn, laugh, and support one another daily—proving that inclusion and belonging make every day brighter.
