I am a Resource Specialist and I work with students who have learning disabilities. They are typically reading 3-4 years below grade level. They are reluctant to read when they enter the program.They are have been introduced to the Read Naturally Program and they practice reading by hearing passages on a CD player with headphones. They practice reading to meet their fluency goal. When they pass a reading level, they get a certificate and a new packet of stories at the next level. They are very excited and proud of their accomplishment!
