When teaching in a 21st century school, it is important to be able to reach all different types of learners through differentiated instruction. I have a very hands-on group that learns best through extended interactive and rigorous activities. These manipulatives are perfect for small group instruction and provide extra instruction for my struggling learners. Due to the shortage of technological materials, I have requested a tablet for enrichment games as well. I would use the intervention reading folders set to remediate any necessary standards missed during whole group instruction. I would use the folder games during small group readings to get students thinking about what they are reading and to ensure comprehension.
