Currently, I have a lowered table that students can work at while sitting on the floor and they love having this option available for independent work time. I would be thrilled to provide them with floor cushions. I would also like to give students the option of sitting at a stool while doing small-group work with me, and chair bands for students who are a little fidgety! With a fulfilled project, students would have more variety with seating options based on what best meets their needs. The classroom environment can really affect the motivation and attitude of students. I want to offer students a place where they feel safe, comfortable, and set up for success!
