These books will help the scholars become comfortable with reading. Many of them struggle with reading because they do not have books that are on their reading level. This will give them an opportunity to increase their reading skill along with learning to enjoy reading! The leveled library is projected to help the scholars increase their reading level along with interventions by at least a grade level by the end of the year. Giving these scholars access to books on their level and a chance to take them home will help make a difference in not only their academics but also in their confidence and motivation.
