I teach a set of students in a traditional classroom setting who love learning about the ever-changing world of science and are captured by the fact that every day brings new discoveries in science. My students are apart of a school community that receive Title 1 school funding which is a federal grant, to support my students who are from low income households which entitles them to free breakfast, lunch and dinner. My students are also a diverse population of learners which includes Special Education and English Language Learners. My students need a space that promotes movement that matches the 21st century which will energize and boost their engagement.
