My goal is always to inspire children to love learning. I still love learning and am constantly looking for new ways to inspire and reach my students (no matter what grade I'm teaching at the time). I am currently looking to increase the amount of hands on learning within the classroom. In this day and age where there is so much testing in the schools, I want the students to still be able to enjoy the process of learning. I teach a wonderfully diverse 2nd grade class. About 70% of my class are English Learners with a variety of backgrounds. We learn from each other every day!
