Having a kidney table will be extremely beneficial for my students. It will allow me to personalize small group instruction for my students. Benefits of small group instruction include individualized learning, building confidence in students, opportunity for feedback, and encourage collaboration within the group. My students are concerned about their own progress and enjoy small group instruction. It is important that we have a designated space for small group instruction in our classroom to work towards the same goals together. Additionally, having this space will also encourage students to self-monitor themselves and join small group instruction when they have misconceptions. A kidney table will help me address all of my students at the same time while giving each student ample space to work.
