McDonough High school students will be going back to school in August virtually. With this switch we are looking for support from the community to purchase art supplies. In a normal year, students would sit at tables in a community setting and share materials. This year however to make sure every student has the same resources we are looking to make kits for students to take home. The supplies listed in this wish list are for intro level art students. Students in this art class follow the Georgia Standards of Excellence. Comprehensive I: Introduces art history, art criticism, aesthetic judgment, and studio production. Emphasizes the ability to understand and use elements and principles of design through a variety of media, processes, and visual resources. Explores master artworks for historical and cultural significance. Course Overview: Throughout this course, you will cover the fundamentals of art. You will learn about different styles of art throughout art history as well as different types of media and drawing techniques. The students will learn about the elements and principles of art, which are the fundamentals for creating a successful work of art. To make sure these students receive the equable education they deserve we are requesting supplies.
