My project this year is getting my students a rug for whole group instruction. This rug will help to provide my students with a safe and comfortable learning environment. This is my first year teaching Kindergarten and being a Title 1 school we do not have much money to purchase supplies and materials needed for the classroom. Getting a rug for my classroom would greatly impact my students learning every day. We do a lot of whole group learning and we need a large area for the entire class to meet at one time. Getting this rug would allow that to happen.
