Having flexible seating options for the children will be beneficial to their learning by allowing them to choose to work at different heights and in different positions. They will be able to choose their best spot that will keep them calm, focused and productive in the classroom. Different options of flexible seating can help stimulate their sense of touch by helping them focus and process information. The sand and water table helps support their math and science skills by introducing scientific concepts while helping explore sensory experiences. The students will be able to explore concepts like sinking and floating. It also helps the children with physical development by using their fine motor skills. Social and emotional skills are being developed by practicing cooperative play and sharing. I am also asking for other learning materials that will be used in the classroom. This is my first year of teaching and I am needing resources that will help with my student's learning.
