My students LOVE to be outdoors, they live for the end of the day when we go out for PE. It is also extremely important for us, as teachers, to make sure our students understand what it means to live a healthy lifestyle. We want them to grow up knowing how to keep their bodies moving so they can keep that motivation when they leave us. Keeping my students active and engaged is extremely important to me! We currently have minimal PE equipment to share among the entire school, so we play games that don't require equipment. I know that if we had more, I could get every student interested and participating in a way that suits them best. Setting my students up for success in their future, not only with their minds but with their bodies, is so important!
