The second graders in my classroom are eager to begin learning. These students come from diverse backgrounds, yet they see no difference in each other. In my regular education classroom I have of a wide range of academic learning abilities ranging from special needs students to high fliers. They identify themselves as a team and work together to achieve success in the classroom. Even with all of their differences, the students accept each other without prejudice. They have become a family in the classroom. My second grade students need a variety of materials at their fingertips to reach their full potential. In a Title I school district it is challenging to provide my students with the material they need on the limited funding available. Despite the challenges we incur, my students are eager to learn and do their best. These young students are the future of our country, but they need the tools to be successful
