When I took over the Social Studies curriculum at my district, I noticed that Home Economic skills (cooking, balancing a check book, etc.) were ignored. This year I attempted cooking lessons at least once or twice per grading period. Unfortunately, I had to put an end to the lessons as I constantly found myself in need of functional supplies. Your donation will directly help them do something they love and increasing their understanding of and implementation of these incredibly important life skills! My students love and look forward to our cooking days, which I hope can occur more frequently next school year! By donating to our project, you can help make this possible!
