My students are special education students with a variety of speech and language impairments and disabilities. The school I serve is a Title I school in the greater Los Angeles area. The community consists primarily of low income families and the need here is great. From students with intellectual disability, autism, and ADHD-like characteristics to students with multiple processing deficits resulting in language learning disabilities, my students work hard during speech and language therapy sessions! I lovingly refer to my students as my "Tiny-town posse."
