Both teachers and students rely heavily on a wide variety of tools and resources to help aide in their instruction. Just as the environment a student learns best in varies, so does their styles of learning and the tools they use to further their education. I strive to implement services that will lead to continued student success, and I believe with the proper tools I will be able help my students across their entire learning experience. These items will also assist them in increasing their independent functioning abilities of keeping their belongings located and organized. There are several miscellaneous materials that will aide in keeping their materials organized, as well as providing replacements of materials that are misplaced. We are also experiencing a shortage of flexible seating options, posing a problem to my students’ learning experience. Currently we’ve been using yoga balls as a substitute, and by adding bases to our yoga ball seats we can help make sure our kiddos stay safe! My hope is that these items will help to create identity, authority, and agency within their learning and within themselves. Using these tools will give them a sense of ownership and responsibility!
