Hi there! My name is Jess, and I teach art to middle school students, grades 6-8. I am a new art teacher to the building, and I'm working with very minimal supplies! Philadelphia schools have been underfunded for many years, but despite these challenges, my students deserve educational equity. I want to ensure that these obstacles don't stand in the way of providing a quality arts education for my amazing students! Our school promotes critical thinking and global-mindedness, and I believe the art room is the perfect place for these skills to naturally develop.
