My students come from an extremely high poverty area in Pennsylvania. The things that my students see on a daily basis are things that most adults never have to experience. Their neighborhood can be a very negative and violent place to live, but in spite of it all, my little gems manage to be some of the most brilliant, witty and inspirational people that you could ever have the privilege of meeting. The violence and turmoil that surrounds them everyday is trying its best to take its toll on them but we are determined to put a stop to it. By putting an end to bullying in our classroom, we hope to stop this violent cycle in its tracks.
