Choices of books to read will give my diverse learner the opportunity to explore different worlds through literature. It will help them become lifelong learners. Most of my students do not have books at home to read. They bring a book from school every day and bring them back the next. The books in our classroom are outdated which makes it hard for students to relate to the world we are living in right now. Books is one of the ways for my students to visualize the world outside their own. Books bring them to places their family cannot offer to go and experiences they are not offered to have yet.
